Are you interested in helping the community and the server? Do you enjoy ensuring people have fun? Then you've come to the right place.
Becoming a Support member comes with great responsibility but can also be very rewarding. If this sounds interesting to you, keep reading to learn more!
First and foremost, an applicant must show initiative to take on different tasks that will lead to better progress in every area. They must be willing to help and collaborate with the server. This is not mandatory but done voluntarily, which gives us a positive impression of an applicant. Lastly, we value personality and characteristics as much as skills.
Below, we've listed our standard requirements that you must consider before applying.
These requirements might seem intimidating, but they ensure that applicants reach their full potential and arrive with a solid foundation in our rules, community, and proper interactions.
Note: If you do not meet these requirements, you will not advance to the next phase, so please only apply once you meet them.
In addition to the standard requirements above, there are general guidelines for applicants. These outline the qualities and skills we seek in our moderation team members.
Note: Many of these criteria are subjective, meaning interpretations of what qualifies can vary. However, we will strictly enforce the summarized aspects mentioned above.
To help you, the community, understand how the application process works, we've detailed it as much as possible below. We hope this clears up any confusion and keeps things straightforward.
Are you interested in joining Hyper’s moderation team? Applications will be conducted through an online form submission, with clear instructions for each step.
The recruitment team (Admins, GMs, and Staff Manager) is responsible for addressing questions about applications and managing the process overall. This team will evaluate every applicant's responses and come to a decision—acceptance or rejection.
While this process may seem intense, decisions are made through majority consensus. If you fear that one team member may dislike you, this won’t entirely jeopardize your chances, as every opinion is carefully reviewed and discussed fairly.
Q: Where can I ask for help?
A: You can request assistance on our Discord in the `📖|general` channel or by opening a ticket.
NOTE: We ask applicants not to repeatedly inquire about when results will be announced. The process is private; if you do so, your application will be automatically rejected.
Q: If I have a punishment, can I still become a Support?
A: If you have a recent warning, mute, or ban (within the past 6 months), you may still apply, but the staff team may not consider you for a position. If you are currently banned or muted, we recommend waiting until it’s lifted before applying.
Q: If I do not get accepted, can I reapply?
A: Yes, but you must wait for 3 months after being rejected to apply again.
